Block Browser Back Blocker is a Chrome add-on that allows users to forcefully navigate back to the previous page on websites that use pop-ups to prevent users from leaving.
In recent times, many websites have implemented pop-ups to detect when users press the back button and display a pop-up to prevent them from leaving. However, this can negatively impact the user experience as users often press the back button with the intention of leaving the current page.
With Block Browser Back Blocker, users can regain control and navigate back to the previous page even on sites that try to prevent it. Currently, the add-on only supports blocking the back button through the popstate event and history manipulation.
Using this add-on is simple. Just click on the add-on button and enter the website where you want to block pop-ups. If you're on the desired website, you can select "Add Domain of This Tab" to automatically input the domain. Once you've entered the site to block, click on the "Apply" button to activate the block.
